Society of the Cincinnati

Looked up Frederick II of Prussia tonight, then went and looked up General von Steuben who I thought was sent to aid the American Revolutionaries by Frederick. When we wrote the Manifesto back in 2003 it looked as if there was some kind of connection between Lafayette, Frederick II and Washington, and we thought it might have been the same order of freemasonry. But if wikipedia has it at all right, von Steuben was a friend of the Compte St Germain who introduced him to Ben Franklin in France. St. Germain is quite the historical character but my knowledge of him comes mainly from my research into the New Age arena.

Reading Steubens' page led me to the Society of the Cincinnati, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Society_of_the_Cincinnati, which I've never heard about to my recollection. Nordica did get a history award from the Daughters of the American Revolution which is an offshoot of the Society, but I barely paid any attention to who the Daughters were when we attended the luncheon (especially after the opening speaker declared himself to be a "racist" and went on to explain he meant it as something "good." I had invited Nordica's 5th grade teacher who submitted the essay, which was how Nord won. She was a black woman. Juanita Falls was the best teacher Nordica ever had, and Juanita refused to get insulted and made Nordica sit down and shut up after Nordica rose in indignation and declared she was leaving). So yeah, this is such an important piece of US history, I'll be giving it more attention when time allows. But check out all the presidents who were members.. and isn't is bizarre that Aaron Burr was a member even though he committed treason against the US? Alexander Hamilton was a member too.. was their disagreement that led to the duel in which Burr shot and killed Hamilton in any way connected to their meetings at the Society? Were they even members at the same time?

McKinley was a member too.

I wonder what connections there might be between CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2009 and Eric Madsen of Team Law, who professes to be a staunch defender of the Constitution of the United States of America and wages a campaign to elect "original jurisdiction governors":

"I belong to a Jurisdiction foreign to the United States and foreign to this Forum of THE STATE OF COLORADO:... I give Notice... demanding all of my rights under the Laws of the Kingdom of Israel, God's Natural Law,... Kingdom of Israel Law, must be used as controlling law in this or any action with, Ambassador Eric W. Madsen." - My Experience at Team Law

It may be interesting to ask Olddog what he thinks of the "Permanent Revolution".

Bobby, I personally know some of these "constitutionalists" here in my neck of the woods, so I can reasonably assure you that most of the participants are well-meaning and even quite up-to-speed on their understanding of the Constitution. However, they are either unwitting dupes [to an agenda bent toward futility and obfuscation] or else they're kept enthralled by so-called experts who are only seeking a free ride on the community gravy train.

Your expose of TeamLaw came on the heels of my earlier investigations of that site. Something didn't sit right with me so I made a note to find out why later on. But then your experience made me realize the site's owner(s) weren't really all that interested in serious engagement after all.

Funny, it seems just the mention of that word "Creator" doesn't suit our good friend. Perhaps he thinks it's his divine right to rule those lesser than him - sort of like the Pope, the Queen, and those rich enough and organized enough to purchase the laws which fit their utopian visions - on the threat of murder, if need be. It's too bad religion has to color all things related to the law anyway, but it is what it is, in any event.

Although I can appreciate some of the finer points from both sides, I feel like surely there must be a few words of art to finally put these long-festering [but very dangerous] conflicts to rest. I trust you'd agree they've been at the heart of much misery in our world.

Woops, looks like I posted my comment to the wrong topic.

Speaking of kingdom of israel law and it being the controlling law how do the noahide laws fit in here since these laws are now on the books in the United States ready to be implemented?

Here is an excerpt from the 1991 Congressional declaration concerning the Noahide Laws:

http://www.come-and-hear.com/editor/america_1.html

" Whereas Congress recognizes the historical tradition of ethical values and principles which are the basis of civilized society and upon which our great Nation was founded;

Whereas these ethical values and principles have been the bedrock of society from the dawn of civilization, when they were known as the Seven Noahide Laws;

Whereas the Lubavitch movement has fostered and promoted these ethical values and principles throughout the world;

Whereas Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, leader of the Lubavitch movement, is universally respected and revered and his eighty-ninth birthday falls on March 26, 1991;

Whereas in tribute to this great spiritual leader, `the rebbe', this, his ninetieth year will be seen as one of `education and giving', the year in which we turn to education and charity to return the world to the moral and ethical values contained in the Seven Noahide Laws; and

Whereas this will be reflected in an international scroll of honor signed by the President of the United States and other heads of state: Now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That March 26, 1991, the start of the ninetieth year of Rabbi Menachem Schneerson, leader of the worldwide Lubavitch movement, is designated as `Education Day, U.S.A.'. The President is requested to issue a proclamation calling upon the people of the United States to observe such day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.
